Mission
CHC has emerged as a public health education organization with a range of talents that now extend beyond the original blood pressure, cholesterol and cardiac risk screenings. As a human services provider, we have made accessible a large number and variety of population-based programs and services that create awareness, as well as encourage healthy behaviors that increase physical activity and healthy eating habits.CHC has a long-term commitment of implementing tobacco prevention and control programs in numerous counties of Western Pennsylvania. In addition, we work to provide cancer, diabetes, and drug and alcohol prevention and awareness programs that meet community, worksite, organizational and individual needs.
