PA Councils on Aging
About the Pennsylvania Council on Aging
The Pennsylvania Council on Aging provides advice to the governor and the department.
The council gives suggestions on how to plan and provide services for older adults.
The council has 16 members, most of whom are 60 years old or older.
The governor nominates these members, and the Senate has to approve them.
There are also five more members who are chairs of regional councils across the state.

Pennsylvania Long‑Term Care Council
The Long-term Care Council provides informed recommendations to improve regulations, licensing, financing, and delivery of long-term care services and supports in the Commonwealth.
Attend a Meeting
Long-Term Care Council meetings will begin at 10:00 a.m.
They will be on Microsoft Teams unless otherwise specified.
The end time will vary based on agenda items for each meeting.
